Kafuu Resort Fuchaku Condo Hotel

Location

Very spacious condo, beach house, the nearby beach (which is safe, despite the lack of nets - according to locals. Nothing happened to our group, but I cannot guarantee that it's always a case, so better check the current conditions). One of the drivers helped us to the bus stop which is not in vicinity of the hotel.

The outdoor pool is closed for autumn (commencing November), which is not mentioned on the main page, and so is the pool cafe that has a kid's playground. That significantly limits activities for the baby. Top floor pool is reserved for owners only. Overall the hotel is a bit outdated and there are parts yearning for modernisation (lifts eg.).

The room was very comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped. The staff were also very friendly and helpful (to the best of their abilities). The ocean view from the room was also very nice. Finally, the grounds were well-maintained.

They were able to accommodate my vegan breakfast requests, but only because of communicating in advance of my stay (and, it took several clarifications). For dinner options, they didn't have any vegan options available. They need to adapt their menu to meet the changing needs and preferences of hotel guests worldwide.

This was our 6th time staying here. It was the first time we had dinner at the restaurant. The food was amazing.

I paid for a premium suite which "supposed" to be a nice room but they put me into a room that smell moldy, the bathroom smell like sewerage and the view was blocked by a building. They have not supply me with an option to switch room but instead said that if I want to switch room I have to pay more (for a smaller room by the way)!!!The staffs were not helpful, the services were flip flops, for example when I called to book a taxi they said there's no taxi reservation service then on the same day when I go down to asked them to call a taxi they said that they can't get me a taxi and the taxi on the ground was reserved by another guest! ?‍♀️Any service you asked it usually takes at least 30min before it get sorted (even booking a taxi)! The food weren't so great, trust me! Overall, it was a bad experience. There are many more beautiful accommodations nearby with better price and better service.

The property is clean. Staff are trying Hard to make guest happy. I like that variety of restaurants there, laundry service is quite convenient, house keeping are making room very clean. Specially there is a staff from Hawaii( I forgot his name ) , he helps foreigners to communicate with local staff to resolve the issues.

The beach area should put some beach chairs and umbrella. The street to go to beach should have zebra zone closer.

They offered happy hr at a reasonable time toward the evening which included a small bar with decent options for alcohol. Across from a beach. Multiple food options

Considering the cost per night was very affordable the property felt like a modern resort, not busy, clean, beautiful view, and great service.

1) never fixed the cold water for the bidet (we were there a week!)2) not enough pool chairs for huge hotel. 3) buffet breakfast very limited for vegetarians or folks who don’t eat pork/ham/bacon (5/6 entres with pig products)4) pool had ladders to get out that were narrow pipe stairs rather than flat and very sore on the feet for seniors and difficult for kids. No shallow end or stairs. 5) hotel NOT on the beach. Have to cross busy street and unkept beach (weeds/grass)6) could vary the buffet for guests that are there for a week instead of exactly the same every single day7) no cereal or good bread or pastries at western breakfast8) would be nice to have chef make omelets

Everything from start to end. Very friendly employees, very comfortable beds and rooms, nice staff also at the morning buffet.

The family suite was spacious with two bedrooms and a kitchen area. Comfortable beds and very clean. The reception staff were all very helpful.

The hotel was not up to the standard of a five star. Although the hotel was not full our room immediately overlooked the car park being on the second floor - a higher floor would have had a nice view of the ocean. There were no facilities for kids - we went to the Sheraton across the road where there was ping pong, indoor pool, and water sports. If you have children that would be the better option. Western breakfast was ok but only ok. Didn’t try the Japanese one. Strongly recommend hiring a car as there is no way to get around other than the airport bus. The hotel does not offer any shuttles to activities which means you are stranded.

The room was nice, it had everything we needed and a beautiful view. And the location is nice, next to the beach, you just need to cross the street.

Firstly, I don‘t really understand how it‘s a 5 star hotel. The service is definitely not reflecting that. They do not approach you proactively for anything, like a 5 star hotel should. On the contrary, even when we would approach with a request, the staff (reception) seemed annoyed and like it‘s the most complicated thing, they seemed stressed out or something. Maybe that was due to the language barrier, because it was really hard to communicate.The facilities were not up to the standard of the 5 star hotel. The most disappointing thing was, that the outdoor pool was closed (it reopens only starting from April). It wasn‘t specified on Booking.com. It only stated, that it‘s seasonal. And, they don‘t even have an indoor pool. Hotels around them did, even if they have less stars. We had to go to hotel Monterey nearby (a 4 star hotel), to purchase visitor day’s pass for 3000 yen and use their indoor pool. Another big disappointment - their gym. I can‘t even call it a gym, it‘s a tiny room with 1 treadmill and 2 bikes. And breakfast… It was very disappointing, everything was cold or lukewarm, not a lot of options. Not to mention, that you might have to wait in line. It should be till 10:00, but at 09:50 they already start to clean up and remove food from the buffet. Shout out to one of their servers, a french guy - he was really friendly and one of the only fluent english speakers there, who gave us nice tips and recommendations. And finally.. the activities. They offer several of those. We wanted to do the buggy ride, but the funny thing is that it‘s an hour away and they don‘t offer the transportation to the actual activity. What is that? How is that a 5 star hotel service? We asked about other activities - same response, no transportation anywhere. Basically, a rental car is a must.All in all, I do not recommend this hotel if the weather in Okinawa is not ideal. They don‘t have a good enough service/facilities to make your holiday of a quality one then.

Excellent location, view of the sea and beach, very spacious and clean, the coffee machine in the room, the microwave oven, luggage storage facilities after check out.

Wish there were some cutlery and plates in the mini kitchen.

Teh breakfast is fantastic especially Japanese breakfast with Shabu Shabu. WIll revisit to this hotel whenever I return to Okinawa

This is my favorite place to stay in Okinawa. Excellent location, breakfast is beautiful and delicious. Love the ammenities, staff is kind and helpful. We extended out stay twice and will definitely return.

The hotel is front of the beach, just need to walk couple of minutes to reach. The facilities very nice, although take into account that if you go in rainy season, to reach some parts you might need to go under the rain. They provide umbrellas and has parking.Amazing view and nice staff.The western breakfast restaurant has sea view and a terrace where you can have your meal. Room was massive a very comfortable.
